Hi everyone,
My name is Omkar and I am from India. I am studying Public Relations.
I was passionate for music from childhood, I am sure this passion was passed on by my father. I started learning the concepts for Indian Classical music at the age of four. After few years of learning Indian Classical music, I had to focus on my academics so I discontinued.
After completing my bachelor degree in Commerce field, I decided to get my another bachelor degree in Music, where I learnt more about concepts of music.
I performed in many shows as a lead vocalist as well as group performer. I was a member of two bands and lead vocalist for both the bands and I formed one of the bands.
I like any kind of music and I feel it. Music gives me inner happiness and takes me out of stress and any tension. Music is my meditation. In my free time I listen to music or try to create new tunes.
I've heard you singing a tune or two at school, but I hadn't realized you were such a serious musician. I'm sure you'll have fun with your blog about unusual instruments. I look forward to reading it and perhaps listening to some of the instruments you report on. Best of luck.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stephanie. I am sure there are many musical instruments, which are rare and difficult to play. I would say these instruments are unique and I would definitely like to play these in future.
DeleteI really enjoyed your performance on the field-trip to Roger center.
ReplyDeleteThanks Yash. It was fun.
